2014 in review

Lavender Wishes – Lives!
Although this Wshacy had been on and off hiatus for an unseemly amount of time, I had plans to get back to them sometime this summer.
As noted on my main blog, earlier today my computer froze and on restart, the hard drive was toast. I lost 35+saves, all my CC and just about everything I had been packratting for the past several years. I lost both the Lavender, the final Desiderio and Chasing wishes saves that I have been so diligent on keeping backed up. The hard drive went without warning and no amount of screaming and yelling will bring it back to life long enough to save anything.
One day, I will try a wishacy again (probably sooner than you think), but right now I need to concentrate on saving the Tart’s. You can voice your opinion on the matter here.
Found an old DVD that had a backup of the Lavender’s, the final Desiderio save and Chasing Wishes! Happy day! A lot is lost, but all the kids were born (still infants and children though), so we will just have to watch them grow up again.

Chapter 3
I was going through an old folder in a folder, that was in another folder and found my Chasing Wishes save, which is from (according to Chapter 2) the day that Supernatural came out last year. I can’t believe it’s still floating around! I am missing a ton of CC, but have added every single EP that has come out since. The two chapters have switched blogs a couple of times, and the broken Chapter 2 is now all fixed (the last switch broke all the images).
Let’s see if we can’t get this done.
Recap – Luke Ugli moved to Bridgeport to become a One Sim Band. He made a couple of friends, flirted with some girls, but he set his sights on, and eventually married, Bianca Rubble. Together they have one daughter, Lark. The last time I played this save, she had just aged up to child…that was 16 months ago.
Chapter 2.13
It has been a lot longer than I thought! Sorry, guys! The spring/early summer dropped about 25 inches of rain on us in a 23-day neverending rain. Flooding was bad (not where I am, but on the way out of our area though) and people were dying left and right due to the “Oh the water from that overflowing river won’t get us!” and then being swept away under 6 feet of water. Then a quick trip to the ER for me. Seriously thought I was dying, but no worries…I was wrong. Unless I’m now a zombie. Hmm. Probably not. Oh and then my hard drive died. My old man got it back up and I started saving as much shit as I could. Then it died again. He saved it again, and I got a bit more stuff. THEN it finally bit the big one. I saved almost everything Everything except for the stupid stuff like written updates and screenshot folders…for 10 families. So, I absolutely cold turkey quit playing sims. I had lost all sims 2 crap, but I put it back and started from scratch and played the heck out of that. I do a Travels with Jenn piece on Sims Asylum playing worlds that people want to see, but don’t necessarily want to download it or maybe not have the time to. Oahu almost melted down my graphics card, so I had to baby that bitch for a few weeks.
Chapter 2.12
Before I get into the chapter, let’s go see the Generation 3 cousins.
The oldest is Emily, daughter of Muffin and Eliseo. She is 12 days to full adult.
Chapter 2.11
The pictures have been done for quite a long time, just been pretty bummed over the loss of 75% of my saves. Luckily, this was not one of the lost ones. I was in such a bad mood that I started a Villain/Pinstar Legacy. I’m also working again. I’m just glad I work from home. I can play and work (to a point), mostly the game just sits minimized. LOL
Chapter 2.10
Last time, Shen Su talked Haley out of her pants and into motherhood with a series of regular and risky woohoo’s over a four day period. She went home soon after the cravings hit and later delivered a baby boy.
Chapter 2.9
Last time, we spent the whole time in Egypt. That’s about it.
Upon returning home, Haley got right back into her handy wishes.
